Rosacea Treatment in Canberra

Rosacea can make you feel like your face is always flushed, even when you feel calm inside. You don't have to manage it alone.
The burning, the heat that rises through your cheeks, the redness that doesn't fade by the afternoon. Rosacea can affect how comfortable your skin feels and how you feel about being seen. You may have tried every product labelled "for sensitive skin" and still not know what's setting your skin off.
At Skin Wellness Academy, we help manage the appearance of rosacea with a gentle, personalised plan that calms inflammation, strengthens your skin barrier and targets visible redness, while helping you understand your own triggers.
What is rosacea?
Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that mainly affects the face. It can cause persistent redness, flushing, visible blood vessels and sometimes sensitivity, rough texture or breakouts that look like acne. It tends to come and go in flare-ups, and it's common, particularly in adults.
Rosacea is a long-term condition, so our focus is on helping your skin look and feel calmer over time, rather than a one-off fix. If you have eye symptoms, painful bumps or your rosacea is changing quickly, we'll recommend you also see your GP or dermatologist, and we're happy to work alongside your medical care.
Common triggers
Everyone's triggers are different, but common ones include sun and heat, hot drinks, alcohol, spicy food, stress, intense exercise, wind and cold, and harsh or fragranced skincare. Keeping a simple trigger diary can be really helpful.
How we help
Your Skin Strategy Session includes a careful review of your skin, medical history, medications, lifestyle and current products, with OBSERV 520x advanced skin imaging to look closely at redness and sensitivity.
Within our Skin Transformation System, rosacea-prone skin usually spends time in the Rebuild phase first, calming inflammation and restoring your barrier.
